I’m day dreaming of Napa today. I actually find myself doing that a lot. Napa will always hold a dear place in my heart. My freshman year of college was spent up in that gorgeous valley. My first year of freedom. My first real taste of what responsibility really was. My first time being so far away from home that I couldn’t just get to my parents in a second if needed. My first experience at a Christian school. My first time really digging into the Bible because I wanted to and because I was curious. I miss those long serene drives. Getting lost for fun. Vineyards passing me by on either side of the one way road. The smell of those grapes was just the most beautiful earthy scent. And nothing is more gorgeous than a Napa sunset with those big white clouds. The colors are unimaginable. It always made me feel just that much closer to God.
