Saw Disney’s Newsies tonight at the Nederlander Theater! My oh my, I must say, this show is definitely up there with Wicked if not slightlyy better. Broadway has always been a passion of mine since I can remember. I think the first play I ever saw was 42nd Street (How appropriate). Newsies is such a high energy musical. I’ve never seen such talent in person with my own two eyes ever; which makes sense because half the cast are graduates of Juilliard. I was literally about 5 rows back from the front. The choreography, the 1900’s NY accents, the sets, the creativity of the show overall, the tone quality of all the actors, the TAP ESPECIALLY… good lord. I HIGHLY recommend this show. You’ll never forget your viewing experience.
Perfect way to close my first NY business trip. It was a complete success!
